About the Role

WSP in Australia is seeking a passionate and driven Maritime Engineer to join our dynamic Rail, Maritime and Freight team in Perth. As part of our Transport & Infrastructure business, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative maritime and intermodal projects across Australia.

You’ll collaborate with industry‑leading experts in a multi‑disciplinary environment, applying your technical knowledge and learning from subject matter specialists to achieve successful project outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Support the delivery of maritime projects, ensuring quality and safety at every stage.
- Provide technical input and assist in project planning, scope, schedule, and cost reviews.
- Prepare proposals and contribute to bids, working closely with senior leaders and project managers.
- Build positive client relationships through responsive and skilled interactions.
- Participate in WSP’s Maritime Practice Area Network and relevant industry forums.
- Mentor junior staff and seek opportunities for your own professional growth.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.

About You

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years’ experience in maritime or related infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to project delivery in a consulting environment.
- Understanding of maritime design principles and relevant standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in multi‑disciplinary settings.
- Interest in developing client relationships and industry networks.
- Familiarity with project management fundamentals and risk awareness.
