We currently have an prospect for a Site Manager to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in leading high‑quality catering services at our Moorabbin site. Reporting to the Catering Operations Manager, you will help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the site café, ensuring exceptional food and service delivery.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Oversee food safety compliance, kitchen operations, and staff coordination to maintain high standards.
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, reporting, and supplier coordination using Downer systems.
- Foster a positive team culture through coaching, training, and performance development.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in kitchen or catering environments, with strong customer service and financial acumen.
- Valid National Police Check, Downer Medical clearance, and Food Handlers Certificate.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, hygiene, and operational excellence.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering quality and consistency in food and service.
