About this opportunity
This role involves assisting with the procurement and delivery of water and sewer capital projects across all points of the project cycle, from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning.
You will prepare briefs and tender documentation, maintain relevant records and registers, check design plans and reports, and seek further input from internal and external stakeholders as needed.
What you'll bring
* A bachelor's degree in an engineering or project/construction management discipline, or relevant industry experience.
* Sound understanding of contract management principles.
* Ability to manage relationships with contractors and consultants.
* Well-developed skills in interpretation of detailed engineering plans, specifications, and quality systems.
* Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office software, MS Project, and spatial information software.
What we offer
* A fixed-term full-time position working 35 hours per week for two years.
* The total remuneration package commences at $121,129.32 gross per annum, comprising base salary, superannuation, and civil liability allowance.
