Heavy Machinery Technician Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for conducting repairs and maintenance on a variety of heavy mining machinery.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile plant technology and experience working in the mining industry. You will possess excellent technical skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy mining equipment
* Participate in major shutdowns and breakdowns
* Gain hands-on experience with machine moves and field service operations
* Liaise directly with clients
* Work autonomously and in a team environment
* Build on our commitment to quality and safety
* Ensure target deadlines are achieved
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Recognised Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence (C Class minimum; HR preferred or willing to upgrade)
* High-Risk Work Licence: LF, DG, WP
* Proven experience working in Mining on Mobile Plant Equipment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol and National Police Clearance screening
