Whitty Engineering is a family owned general engineering business, specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of timber mill processing equipment Australia wide. Established in 2008, the business has grown to employ 60 staff in its purpose built Mount Gambier workshop.
The Trainee/Junior Administration Officer is a key role in the Administration team. You will receive training and support to enable you to provide high-quality administrative and business support. Your role will be critical in the day-to-day operation of the Administration function, contributing to the success of customer jobs and business operations.
Key Responsibilities (to be split with other administration staff)
* Accounts payable.
* Accounts receivable.
* Timesheet input and other payroll tasks as required.
* Administration of customer jobs on an end-to-end basis including database management.
* Ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks in support of managers and supervisors.
About You
* Fast learner and able to retain information.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
* Self-motivated, detailed, efficient, accurate and dependable.
