The Role
ALS Central Procurement & Supply Chain is looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Store Person to join our team in Stafford, QLD. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping stock moving efficiently while supporting internal teams through accurate inventory management and basic admin tasks. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in getting things done right.
Day to Day
* Pick, pack and dispatch sales orders
* Receive, store and move inventory using forklifts and manual handling
* Load and unload trucks and coordinate with transport providers
* Monitor stock levels and support purchasing requirements
* Maintain accurate inventory records and prepare documentation for audits and stocktakes
* Use Excel, email and inventory systems to update data and respond to internal requests
* Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with HSE requirements
* Work collaboratively to meet team goals and operational deadlines
The Essentials
* Valid Forklift Licence and manual driver's licence (mandatory)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or stores role
* Physically capable of manual handling (lifting 15kg+, standing, moving throughout shifts)
* Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Competent with computers, email and intermediate Excel / MS Office
* Experience with inventory systems or ERP software (desirable)
* Commitment to safety, quality and following procedures
