Our long standing client is currently seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant/Talent Acqusition lead to join their team in an initial 3 month contract. This roel will be working on the stunning Mornington Peninsula 3 days per week and offering the additinal 2 days from home.
Your role will be day to day talent aquisition duties as well as project related process/policy implementation and improvement as below:
* Lead all current and upcoming recruitment activities end to end during the contract term.
* Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, success profiles, and workforce needs.
* Develop recruitment plans and sourcing strategies for each vacancy.
* Determine the most effective sourcing approach (in-house vs external agency) and select/manage agencies where appropriate.
* Manage job advertising, sourcing, screening, and shortlisting.
* Conduct phone screens and participate in interviews as a decision-making panel member when required.
* Prepare interview documentation including notes, selection reports, and recommendations.
* Coordinate reference checks and relevant background checks.
* Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practice, candidate experience, and fair selection.
* Support offer management and onboarding coordination as required.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
* Develop or refine recruitment procedures, templates, and collateral to support managers and ensure consistency.
* Ensure recruitment activities comply with organisational policies and relevant employment legislation.
