Emergency Care Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department of Broken Hill Base Hospital.
The department is a level 3 emergency department that services Broken Hill and the Far West, treating up to 60 patients a day with varying acuity and conditions. Our ED currently has 7 beds including 2 resuscitation beds and 5 acute care beds, 1 safe assessment room.
* Support patient care, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth of the team in a rural community setting.
* Must have 4 years experience as a Registered Nurse working in Emergency and Triage, Basic and Advanced Life Support certification, Trauma Care experience, Skills in ECG, resuscitation, non-invasive cannulation, and venepuncture.
Benefits include daily meal allowance, travel and accommodation included, RHWIS paid as an hourly rate fortnightly at $5.04 per hour, Fitness Passport, and registered nurse award rates based on years of service.
