A03 Maintenance Support Officer - Call Centre 3 x positions available $51.12 pr hour super QLD Government Full-time, temporary contract ASAP Start | Initial contract to 17th of July 2026 highly likely ongoing extension Cannon Hill based office No WFH The Role A large QLD government department, is seeking an experienced customer support/call centre officer to provide support in a high-volume inbound call centre environment. You will build relationships with customers and contractors, whilst arranging for responsive maintenance for government owned properties. Your duties will include: Arranging responsive maintenance for Government owned properties Answering or making customer calls to address their maintenance needs. Raising work orders High-volume data entry Engaging with callers to confirm or clarify information and calming angry customers, as needed. Appropriately using software, databases, scripts, and tools Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call centre metrics. Providing consistent customer service You Experience in a high-volume customer service/call centre environment Insurance repair or property maintenance experience is highly regarded Microsoft Office Skills in Excel, Word and Teams Problem-solving and de-escalation skills The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment whilst adhering to KPI’s Exceptional customer service, active listening and verbal and written communication skills Strong time management and decision-making ability Apply Please apply directly below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
