About The Role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
* Preparation, analysis and testing of specimens and/or assays
* Performing designated testing procedures as outlined in methods and procedures, ensuring adherence to NPAAC/NATA ISO15189 requirements.
* Participation in internal and external quality assurance programs.
* Participation in continuing education.
* Liaise with internal and/or external stakeholders (referring practitioners) regarding test results or referrals as necessary.
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
* A Bachelor of Science or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a diagnostic laboratory is desirable.
* Experienced in handing Histology samples and the Histology workflow.
* A high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and accountability.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Experience in staff training is essential.
* Able to work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to team performance.
* Knowledge of quality assurance systems and scientific instrumentation and equipment.
* Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety processes and procedures.
