We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Apprentice to join us. Your new role This is an exciting opportunity for a 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Landscaper who is eager to learn, develop practical trade skills, and work on unique landscape construction projects across Melbourne. Working alongside experienced Landscapers, Site Supervisors, and Lead Landscapers, you'll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of landscape construction while completing your Certificate III in Landscape Construction. You will: Assist with landscape construction activities including planting, mulching, turfing, edging, paving, concreting, and retaining walls. Support site setup, pack-down, material preparation, and general site organisation. Learn to safely operate hand tools and landscaping equipment under supervision. Follow landscape plans, drawings, and instructions from qualified team members. Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and distributing materials across sites. Participate in on-the-job training and apprenticeship requirements. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard. Follow all safety procedures, SWMS, and PPE requirements. Attend toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and safety briefings. Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe work practices immediately. Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment. About you You’re enthusiastic about building a career in Landscaping and enjoy hands-on, outdoor work. You take pride in your work, follow instructions, and are eager to learn from skilled and supportive mentors. To be considered for this role, you will: Be currently undertaking or willing to commence a Certificate III in Landscape Construction. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 25kg. Confidence working outdoors in varying weather conditions. White Card (essential). Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle Working With Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain) Full Australian working rights Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, labouring, construction, turf installation, paving, or concreting. (Not essential, but advantageous) Experience operating equipment such as excavators, bobcats, or other machinery ((Not essential, but advantageous).
