About the role
* Safely operate an agitator truck to deliver premixed concrete to designated locations.
* Conduct thorough inspections of the concrete mixer to ensure safety and quality standards.
* Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* Assist with regular maintenance, including completing the Daily Operator Checklist and ensuring truck and mixer cleanliness.
* Conduct regular inspections of the concrete in the mixer to ensure conformity with specified standards.
* Monitor and maintain the slump of each load within tolerance limits.
About you
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as an agitator driver or in a similar role preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety and an understanding of safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
* Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime.
