Your primary responsibilities will include:
Creating a safe and nurturing environment where young people feel secure and cared for.
Fostering a sense of identity and belonging among the youth you support.
Facilitating the development of positive and trusting connections with family, friends, and the community.
Encouraging and enabling young people to reach their full potential through learning and personal growth.
Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and facilitating access to healthcare services.
Supporting the development of strong social and interpersonal skills.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
Maintain a clean and safe living workplace within the residential care home.
Manage day-to-day tasks related to the operation of the residential care home.
Complete verbal and written reports as required.
Sleepover shifts are often a requirement of this role

How to apply_
Need to be available to work minimum 3 - 4 shifts per week encompassing weekends, evening and night shifts as required.

Must be prepared to enrol or are studying a recognised qual to be a youth worker under departmental guidelines
