**The Opportunity**:
Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our Collections division based in Cambridge, 7170. As the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for the allocation of schedules to vehicles ensuring the efficient completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards and performance targets. You will also work closely with the Vehicle Logistics Officer by providing logístical and technical support to ensure route optimisation.

**What you'll be responsible for**:
- Managing the daily operations to ensure resource allocation and job completion
- Assist with facilitating controlled waste collections for southern Tasmania
- Supervising a team of drivers across recruitment, training, staffing and performance management
- Driving continual improvement of processes and procedure
- Ensuring customer expectations are exceeded handling complaint management and resolution
- Overseeing purchasing and suppliers
**What you'll need to be successful**:
- Relevant qualification preferable
- Experience in waste management preferable
- Supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge of minimum WorkCover Safety requirements
- Full knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Current C Class driver's licence
