We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated **Territory Specialist** for our _Nutrition _business.
Based in **Brisbane,** this role will report to the _Regional Sales Manager (Hospital & Paediatrics)_ and is responsible for managing the **QLD territory** for Nutrition products to ensure sales targets are met through development of key relationships with Hospitals, Specialists and Paediatricians to grow, maintain and protect the Nutrition business.
- Some regional travel is required to fulfil the duties of this role._
**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:
- Gain new business and grow existing business through a multichannel and customer engagement strategy that builds HCP confidence and loyalty to Abbott products
- Measure progress against customer and account objectives; take action to meet targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HCPs throughout customer accounts using existing relationships with HCPs and others to expand customer network
- Maintain current knowledge about medical and nutritional science, the evolving healthcare landscape and emerging digital trends to support selling and educating a broad network of HCPs about Abbott products
- Contribute to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in territory by increasing awareness among Health Care Professionals on the important role of nutrition in improving quality of life, and the superiority of Abbott products to competitor brands.
- Use data and insights from digital and other omnichannel activities to refine HCP profiles and choose engagement activities that will fit the needs, preferences and goals of each individual HCP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support patient education regarding nutrition and Abbott brands, influence customer and patient choice of nutrition products, and deliver a consistent, end-to-end customer engagement experience
**Who we’re looking for**:
- 2 years' experience in a sales role and at least 1 year sales experience in the healthcare industry, with clear demonstration of success in a sales role and innovative sales strategies
- Business acumen and previous experience in a commercial environment is critical
- Nutrition experience is advantageous
- Drive, resilience and self-motivation; enthusiastic go-getter who works well under pressure
- Positive team player who has pride in their quality of work and high level of customer service
- Ability to think on your feet and have ownership in building your territory with developed skills in influence and negotiation
- A natural people’s person, you will have the ability to build strong working relationships with your tightly-knit team and a variety of stakeholders including at the C-suite level
- Excellent time management with an organised approach to planning in advance
