Position Overview

Permanent part‐time role – no weekend work.

Support clients with domestic tasks in their own home.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with domestic tasks as prescribed within their care/support plan and in a way that encourages independence.
• Perform tasks such as making beds, ironing, laundering, dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Provide some social support in the community.
• Follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home.
• Use a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3–6 months domestic or industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered, insured and road‐worthy vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously, travelling from home to home, and to reference a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
• Alignment to Silverchain Group's COVID‐19 vaccination policy, requiring evidence of vaccination or an authorised medical exemption.

Employment Details

Contract of 55 hours per fortnight, Monday‐Friday 9:00am‐3:00pm.
