Role Description
Level 1 or 2 building certifier. This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Gold Coast, QLD. As a Building Certifier, you will manage the certification process for commercial and multi‑residential buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting BCA Assessments, preparing and issuing building approvals, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, conducting inspections. You will work closely with clients, architects, builders, project managers, consultants to deliver high‑quality and efficient certification services.
Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of Building Codes, Australian Standards and QLD Building Legislation.
* Proficiency in building inspections, certification and auditing for compliance.
* Strong technical knowledge to assist clients with overcoming compliance issues and obtaining resolutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and stakeholders.
* Ability to work on‑site and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Relevant qualifications and accreditations in building certification or building surveying.
* Level 1 or 2 QBCC building certifier licence (interstate applicants will be considered).
* Registration as a Building Certifier or qualifications required to obtain registration (essential).
* Experience working on class 2‑9 projects is essential.
