Role & Responsibilities
* Design and deliver secure, compliant healthcare integrations using FHIR, HL7 v2 and CDA standards.
* Lead Java‐based implementation of Enterprise Integration Patterns using SOAP/REST APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
* Build, integrate and deploy enterprise‐scale solutions using Apache Camel and Apache Kafka.
* Collaborate with Platform and DevOps engineers to design CI/CD pipelines within DevOps and GitOps frameworks across cloud‐native environments.
* Champion software quality through comprehensive testing practices and performance/load testing in complex healthcare ecosystems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience designing and delivering healthcare integration solutions using industry interoperability standards.
* Expert‐level Java engineering capability across enterprise integration frameworks and technologies.
* Strong hands‐on experience with Apache Camel and Apache Kafka in large‐scale environments.
* Proven leadership in Agile/Scrum teams, with a focus on mentoring, continuous improvement and high‐quality delivery.
* Broad experience in testing practices including unit, integration, API and performance testing using JUnit, Bruno and Apache JMeter.
* Australian Citizen and able to gain a Baseline level security clearance.
