As a Quality Control Analyst in our Business Banking team, you'll play a key role in helping to support the network with Business Banking account openings, processes and enquiries - ensuring all customer onboarding requirements (business and regulatory) have been accurately completed. This role is an opportunity for those seeking to gain valuable experience in customer identification (Applicable Customer Identification Procedures (ACIP) and Know Your Customer (KYC) at onboarding for non-individual customers) - which underpins Suncorp's obligation to Protecting Our Customers. This will also include maintaining and enhancing KYC compliance practices within Business Banking.

What will your day look like?
**As a Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for**:
Quality control in relation to customer onboarding (across non-individual customers) including rectification of customer data as required.
Supporting the KYC Team Lead to embed a robust and consistent quality management framework for customer onboarding.
Supporting the uplift of KYC knowledge within frontline teams, including training to business on KYC compliance and obligations - includes engaging with relevant business areas to drive implementation.
Supporting the implementation of tools that rapidly identify areas of non-compliance.
Implementing and maintaining reports that bring together quality management metrics.
Delivering strong coaching and training outcomes for frontline team and Centre of Excellence team members based on QC/QA results.
Using and embedding risk and compliance frameworks and programs to support remediation following insights from assurance/oversight activities.
Contributing to a positive risk and compliance culture to enhance Business Banking's risk maturity.
Keeping things simple while driving innovation, removing blockages and anticipating and adapting to risk and business challenges.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Experience in risk/compliance or related field in the Financial Services industry
Background in financial institution operations
Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements for Banking
Sound knowledge of risk and compliance management practices, risk appetite and governance concepts
Strongly developed interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders
Change Management - understand and manage the impact of change on myself and others and develop strategies to support agility and responsiveness to move forward.
Commercial Acumen - recognise and implement business strategies to drive profitable growth, customer acquisition, customer experience and business productivity.
Delivering results - manage business activities and initiatives to achieve individual and/or team goals on time and on budget; take accountability for approach taken and quality of outcome.
Planning and organising - establish processes to complete goals (either personal or for others) and allocate appropriate resources to achieve such goals.
