JAX Tyres & Auto Bathurst is seeking a skilled and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our high-performing team.

About the Role
As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will play a key role in servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring customers leave with confidence and peace of mind.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct vehicle diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repairs
Perform maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems and more
Carry out AIS inspections and certifications
Road-test vehicles to ensure high-quality repairs
Complete service documentation and job cards accurately
Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues and recommended solutions
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
AIS certification (or ability to obtain)
Current, valid Australian Driver's Licence
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong focus on safety and WHS compliance
Availability to work on Saturday
