Resource Scheduler
This role is responsible for coordinating and optimising the allocation of personnel to client engagements, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling, resource coordination, or a similar administrative role, and possess strong organisational and time-management abilities.
* Utilise scheduling software to efficiently manage and update resource assignments.
* Develop, adjust and maintain schedules for personnel and other resources based on project requirements, availability, and capacity.
* Coordinate with Partners and department heads to forecast resource needs.
* Communicate scheduling updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
* Forecast resource demand for current and upcoming projects to identify potential gaps.
* Collaborate with project managers to align resource needs with client timelines and budgets.
* Coordinate training programs to address skill gaps and support professional development.
* Use resource management tools to track allocation, availability, and utilisation metrics.
* Generate reports on workforce performance, project progress, and resource optimisation.
Requirements:
* Experience in a professional services environment is essential.
* Proven experience in scheduling, resource coordination, or a similar administrative role.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficiency in scheduling software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
* Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (desirable).
