Procurement Specialist Job Description
The Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in sourcing new products, managing suppliers, and uploading approved products to our online catalogue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms that meet business needs.
* Manage the upload and maintenance of products on the online product catalogue, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Resolve product issues, attend customer meetings, and advise customers on service deviations.
* Provide regular performance reports to internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.
Requirements:
* Supply Chain or Business undergraduate or Master's degree preferred.
* Operational Procurement experience in a similar environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage customer interactions and utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office/Excel.
* Proficient in using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for business management.
