Legal Secretary – Casualty Team (Sydney)
Position
This is a permanent, full‐time role within a busy litigation practice that will provide you with challenging and diverse work in a supportive, collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
* Opening new files and ongoing file management.
* Drafting documents such as letters to clients, pleadings, and cost agreements.
* Collating briefs to experts and counsel.
* Billing: generating prebills, making necessary amendments, and finalising prebills.
* General administrative tasks including calendar management, arranging meetings, invoicing, and other duties as required.
Qualifications
* At least 2 years of secretarial experience supporting senior lawyers in a busy litigation environment.
* Insurance experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.
