Our client, a large complex organisation within the Utilities sector, is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to start as soon as possible, for a 9+ month contract with possible extension.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of a large scale spatial transformation project(s) specifically Spatial Application Renewal & Utility Network Model.
This role involves contributing to all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Working collaboratively with cross‐functional teams and vendors, this role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. You will achieve this by applying best practices in project management methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder communication that align with the organisation's objectives and business requirements.
Responsibilities
* Experience in delivering projects related to the large scale spatial transformation and Utility Network Model.
* Experience with the ESRI Platform mandatory, and experience with related applications like FME and Geocortex/VertiGIS highly regarded.
* Experience in delivering projects using Waterfall and Agile.
* Experience in delivering projects using formal project management methodologies (ie Prince 2).
* Expertise in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, vendor management and handling multiple projects.
* Ability to lead project teams, optimise resources, and collaborate across cross‐functional teams.
* Work well with business stakeholders to support implementation/rollout.
