As an Electrical Trades Assistant, you will be part of a high-profile Defence project at Tindal RAAF Air Base in the Northern Territory. Your key responsibilities will include supporting qualified electricians with the installation of runway lighting and cabling systems while gaining valuable experience on a secure site.
Key Responsibilities
* You will work closely with experienced electricians to ensure that all electrical installations meet the required standards
* You will assist in the maintenance of existing electrical systems and equipment
* You will develop your skills and knowledge in electrical trades, including safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
* Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory for this role
* White Card is also a requirement for this position
* Bobcat ticket is highly desirable but not essential
* Prior experience as an Electrical Trades Assistant is preferred but not necessary
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for Defence site access
* National Police Clearance within the last 3 months is also required
* DCAC Security Card is ideal but not essential
* You must be able to pass medical and drug and alcohol tests
