Techforce is seeking reliable and motivated Field Technicians and Core Yard Technicians to support ongoing exploration projects across Western Australia. If you enjoy hands‐on work, thrive outdoors, and want to be part of a team driving exploration forward—this role is for you.
About the Role
You will support geologists and exploration teams across a range of commodities and locations. These roles involve physical, practical work in remote camp environments, with varied rosters including 8:6, 2:1, and 12:9 FIFO/DIDO.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, process and manage RC/AC and Diamond drill samples
* Cut core, prepare dispatch, and maintain sample quality
* Assist geologists with day‐to‐day field and exploration tasks
* Follow company HSE procedures and maintain a strong safety culture
* Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure safe operation
About You
* Self‐motivated with a strong work ethic
* Able to follow direction and work both independently and in a team
* Comfortable with long hours in remote, challenging environments
* Physically fit, adaptable, and hands‐on
Requirements
* Current Driver's Licence
* First Aid Certificate (issued within the last 2 years)
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
* Two recent references, police clearance & full Australian working rights
* Forklift Ticket (advantageous but not essential)
