The Company
Young, ambitious, well-backed, high-growth Australian FMCG business with modern operations and a clear growth agenda. Technology plays a critical role in supporting production, logistics, and corporate teams, and the business continues to invest in systems, infrastructure, and capability as it scales.
This is an opportunity to join an Australian success story at a point where the business remains agile, decisions are made locally, and individual contribution is visible and valued.
The Role
This is a hands-on ICT Systems & Support role with meaningful responsibility and scope.
You will be the primary on-site ICT resource for the business, responsible for day-to-day support and the reliable operation of systems, networks, and infrastructure in a live manufacturing and warehouse environment.
While user support is part of the role, it goes beyond traditional helpdesk. You will be trusted to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, execute changes safely in live systems, and work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
This role suits someone who is comfortable being hands-on, taking responsibility, and steadily growing their infrastructure capability in an operational environment.
What you'll do
• Provide Level 2 technical support across hardware, software, networks, and cloud services
• Own day-to-day operation and stability of on-premise and cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, backups, and virtualisation
• Troubleshoot and maintain network environments including switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and connectivity supporting production and warehouse operations
• Execute server, network, and infrastructure changes in live environments, working with vendors where required
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID including user access, identity, and licensing
• Support and maintain line-of-business systems used in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics
• Manage ICT onboarding and offboarding, including equipment, access, and accounts
• Proactively monitor systems to minimise downtime and operational impact
• Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and a practical knowledge base
• Coordinate external service providers while retaining ownership of outcomes
• Support security, backup, and disaster recovery practices across IT and OT-adjacent systems
About you
You are a capable, hands-on ICT professional who enjoys variety and responsibility.
You are comfortable supporting users, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and executing changes in live environments, while knowing when to engage vendors or seek guidance. You take pride in keeping systems running reliably and improving them over time.
You bring
• 5+ years' experience in ICT support, systems, or operations roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID
• Practical networking experience including troubleshooting switches, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues
• Experience working in operational, warehouse, or production environments
• Exposure to executing infrastructure or server changes in live systems
• A practical understanding of cybersecurity, backups, and risk management
• Clear communication skills and a calm, reliable approach in busy environments
Nice to have
• Exposure to PLC, SCADA, HMIs, or industrial control environments
• Experience supporting ERP, WMS, or manufacturing systems
• Cisco CCNA or similar networking certification
• Exposure to VMware or similar virtualisation platforms
• Experience working in FMCG, manufacturing, or 24/7 operational settings
Culture
This is a pragmatic, low-ego environment where people are trusted to do their job. The business values reliability, ownership, and people who take initiative. You'll work closely with operations, see the impact of your work daily, and support systems that are critical to production and growth.
