In this dynamic role, you’ll: Provide high-quality, direct clinical care to patients and their families, including via telehealth. Support and mentor local clinicians to build service capability and embed best practice principles. Participate in case consultations and contribute expert advice for complex and high-risk clients. Assist with care navigation, service transitions, and discharge planning. Develop and deliver training and clinical resources, drawing from international best practices. Contribute to research and implementation planning to enhance service delivery across the district. What You'll be Doing As part of a specialist clinical support team, this position will provide direct targeted clinical care that supplements existing service provision to people with an eating disorder in either an inpatient or community-based setting. This position will also provide clinical workforce support to existing teams/services to improve service capability and the effective care for residents of SWSLHD and their families/carers. Where You'll Be Working SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney. These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care. How to Apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible. Relevant qualification/ registration in one of the disciplines, as noted in the essential criteria. Describe your experience in providing direct clinical care to individuals with eating disorders, including how you have supported families/carers and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams. How have you incorporated evidence-based practices in complex or high-risk cases? Outline your approach to building clinical capability within a team or service. Include examples of how you have contributed to workforce development, provided supervision or training, and supported the implementation of best practice principles in a healthcare setting. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
