Overview
Release Coordinator role. Location: Baulkham Hills, Sydney; Hybrid work environment; Full-time. Based in Bella Vista. Job requisition ID: JR4358. Fixed Term Salaried Contract until June 2027.
Role
Supporting the Release Manager on the Core Modernisation project. The Core Modernisation project supports the RBA's mission and enables standardising, simplifying and automating the bank's infrastructure, with a focus on reducing risk through new data centre and modernised infrastructure.
Responsibilities
* Plan and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and governance.
* Coordinate releases for business-critical applications across multiple environments.
* Support data centre exit and cloud migration releases, including cutover and stabilisation activities.
* Collaborate with Change Management, project teams, developers, testers, and vendors to ensure release readiness.
* Identify, manage, and mitigate release risks and dependencies.
* Facilitate release readiness reviews, go / no-go decisions, and post-release reviews.
* Ensure accurate release documentation, artefacts, and reporting.
* Monitor release performance and drive continuous improvement of release processes.
* Communicate release status, impacts, and issues to all stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience
* Minimum 4 years of experience in release coordination, with a track record of managing complex, large-scale migration programs.
* Strong understanding of release governance, risk management, and change processes.
* Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
