**The opportunity**
We are seeking **a highly motivated leader to join our Sustainment Operations Supplier Management and Procurement team**. This role is pivotal in executing and growing existing programs through providing contracting expertise, guidance and leadership.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Sustainment Operations, responsibilities will include:
- Develop and lead the capability growth strategy in the area of contract and supplier management to align with the BDA business plans and technology roadmaps
- Lead, engage and develop employees
- Strategic workforce planning including the provision of resources to meet multiple project demands
- Lead and promote a culture of continuous improvement and productivity by questioning established practice
- Support executing projects within the Sustainment Operations business unit through provision of people, processes and tools relevant to contracting to ensure they are successful in meeting our customer expectations
- Enable collaboration across programs to identify and leverage commonalities, innovation and efficiencies across multiple programs.***

**Criteria**
The successful applicant will have:
- Extensive knowledge of contractual and procurement requirements in a commercial environment
- Leadership experience in a strategic supply chain contracting environment
- Tertiary qualifications and experience in a field of relevance to contracting and supplier management.
