Job DescriptionThe opportunity Work with the management team, offering strategic guidance for policy development to ensure that commissioned services align with government objectives, address the health needs of the community, and contribute to enhancing overall health outcomes in mental health, suicide prevention, and alcohol and other drugs.
Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of systemwide strategies that underpin the regional plan, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including community organisations and people with lived experience, to ensure planning is person-centred and locally responsive.Apply human-centred design principles to ensure services and strategies are co-designed, inclusive, and meet the diverse needs of the community.Establish and support commissioning opportunities with Metro North HHS, Brisbane North PHN, and other funders, informed by the regional plan.Provide strategic analysis, policy advice, and reporting to support governance and continuous improvement of the regional plan.Base salary $130,687pa + 11.5% super + salary packaging (total remuneration up to $151,652pa).
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you Tertiary qualifications in health services, social science, or related discipline are desirable, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.Knowledge of Australia's mental health, suicide prevention, and alcohol and other drug treatment systems, including current challenges and reforms.Experience in health research, needs assessment, and/or developing health service plans.Experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships and collaborative mechanisms with diverse stakeholders.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate, influence, and gain commitment.Strong project management skills and ability to develop strategies to meet targets and standards.Exposure to national programs and a positive workplace culture.Flexibility, negotiable depending on business needs, including potential to work from home up to 3 days per week, flexible hours, accrued days off, and flexible start/finish times.Generous salary packaging arrangements, including NFP tax-free benefits.Modern Lutwyche office base with free undercover parking.Five weeks' annual leave per annum.Social and friendly work environment, with great kitchen facilities and proximity to shops, cafes, and transport.Access to Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.Apply to join our team To apply, please:
