With multiple projects currently under construction (performing exceptionally well), and a strong pipeline of new developments ready to launch, this business is in an exciting phase of sustained growth.Your JobThis business is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join their already strong team.
You will be overseeing the design of high end apartment projects which range between $60m - $90m in value.
You will be instrumental in ensuring design keeps pace with construction and the projects run smoothly.
As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the project from conception to completion, contributing to their reputation for delivering projects of the highest standard.Your Experience and QualificationsBachelor of Construction Management, Bachelor of Quantity Surveying, Bachelor of Architecture or Trade qualifications with experience in a design position.Working knowledge and experience with construction specific programs Procore (Preferred).Proven experience working for the builder or developer/builder in a design position, influencing build-ability through design smarts.Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.Manage all consultant contractual documentation, including agreements, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve any contractual issues or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.Monitor project budgets and expenditure, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other project partners.Your CareerThis business has already built an outstanding reputation for quality, professionalism, and delivery.
