The role:
As the Team Lead of our Store Development Design team, your main objective is to develop and manage your team terms of people management and capability building, while also bringing your expertise to your squad.
You'll be responsible for leading the design and development of new stores and refurbishments across our retail network — from flagship fuel sites to bespoke convenience formats. This includes overseeing concept development, detailed documentation, compliance, and project delivery frameworks. You'll ensure all design work meets brand, operational, and regulatory standards, while fostering innovation and customer-centricity.
You'll manage workload prioritisation and resource planning across a high-performing design team, balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term strategic initiatives. You'll also play a hands-on role in team capability building — coaching, mentoring, and stepping in when needed to ensure deadlines are met and quality is upheld.
