Our four-theatre hospital supports a large cohort of visiting surgeons and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering both anterior and posterior ophthalmic procedures.

About the Role
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), and Anaesthetic Technicians to join our perioperative team on a permanent part-time or casual basis.
We welcome applications from
* Experienced ophthalmic scrub/scout nurses
* Anaesthetic Technicians, ENs or RNs with perioperative or anaesthetic experience
* Newly qualified ENs interested in commencing their career in a day hospital setting
* Nurses from other perioperative or acute backgrounds who are keen to transition into ophthalmic surgery
Experience in vitreoretinal procedures is desirable but not essential.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
* Interested in working in a specialist ophthalmic day surgery environment
* Experience in ophthalmic and/or oculoplastic surgery is preferred for scrub/scout roles
* Experience supporting eye blocks, sedation, and general anaesthesia lists for anaesthetic support roles
* Dependable and well organised, with a consistent, professional approach to work
* Team-focused, with a willingness to support others and uphold our Thrive culture
* Current AHPRA registration (RN or EN) or recognised Anaesthetic Technician qualification
* Right to work in Australia
