IWC has an exciting opportunity to work within their Finance department as a Part Time (minimum 3 days) up to Full-Time Accountant. This position will work across all IWC programs and services, undertaking a wide variety of financial tasks in multiple systems. The aim of this role is to provide support to Management and the Finance Team of IWC.

Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and review of monthly reconciliations of accounts.
* Processing of rent roll.
* Work to ensure statutory reporting requirements are met, including all taxation requirements.
* Prepare and review journal entries.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
* Review of weekly bank reconciliations.
* Assist to maintain asset register and processing of depreciation.
* Review payroll pay runs for accuracy, as required.
* Review payment runs.
* Assist with cash flow forecasting.

Experience Preferred
* SAP Business One
* Payroll
* Accounts experience, in particular financial reporting
* 2+ years in a similar Accountant role
* NFP/Government Funding Reporting Experience
Key Requirements
* Accounting Degree (minimum requirement is Bachelor Degree)
* Studying towards or holds CA/CPA
* A Blue Card (Working with children card QLD) or ability to obtain
* Federal police check or ability to obtain
* Current Driver's Licence is essential or the ability to obtain
* First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
Salary Package
* Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).
* Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).
* 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
* Superannuation valued at 12%.
* Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%
