About the Role We are looking for a highly dynamic and motivated Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach of the Tasmania JackJumpers. The Assistant Coach will be required to work closely with the Head Coach and wider organisation to ensure the on-court success of the Team. Communication between the athletes, coaches, support staff and JackJumpers operations team will be critical to the success of this position. Key Responsibilities Working as part of the coaching team assist in the development of a consistent leadership culture in the Jack Jumpers team. Working as part of the coaching team be involved in the evaluation, recruitment and acquisition of players. Using appropriate technology to prepare scouting reports on opposition teams and players. Working as part of the coaching team be involved with development and implementation of individual player performance plans, this included their development on and off the court. Work closely with the Head coach to develop and implement off season training and conditioning programs. Assist in the technology set-up of our basketball program, including SportsCode, Video, etc. Growing the game of basketball by working with our community team in schools, clubs and community groups around Tasmania Work-out non-traveling players when the team is on the road. Work with front office to promote the JackJumpers Brand at club events. Other special projects as directed by the Head Coach or CEO.
