Job Title: Sales Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide top-notch sales support.
The Sales Engineer role involves:
* Technical sales of complex automated manufacturing systems or turnkey systems such as Autobagger, Debagger, Palletiser, Depalletiser, Conveyor, Bottle Turner, Weld Cells, and Vision Systems.
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
* Preparing and delivering technical presentations and CAD layouts explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
* Collaborating with the Director to understand customer requirements and providing sales support.
* Planning and modifying solutions to meet customer needs.
* Helping clients solve problems with installed equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales related to robotic automation and machinery or account management role. Experience in automation or manufacturing industry preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
* Previous experience working as a Sales Engineer and client relationship.
* Ability to prepare 3D simulations, when required.
* Ability to prepare 2D and 3D layouts.
