The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking to recruit a Painter within Building Fabric Services of the Maintenance Services Section of the Building Services Branch. Maintenance Services is the maintenance authority for Parliament House and is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building's structure, fabric, finishes, landscape and all engineering services such as air conditioning, power, lighting, hydraulic services and movement systems. The Building Fabric Services is a Business unit within Maintenance Services, responsible for maintaining the building fabric and furniture within Parliament House. This includes both internal and external surfaces which comprise timber, carpet, concrete, stone, glazing, painted surfaces and furniture.
