About the Role
We're looking for passionate Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated team in Maitland. You'll be part of a tight-knit crew delivering high-quality, person-centred care to older Australians in a beautiful rural setting. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with variety, autonomy, and the chance to build strong relationships with residents and staff.
What you'll do:
* Provide person-centred nursing care that supports residents' wellbeing
* Guide and mentor Care Assistants in daily care delivery
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement best practice standards
* Work within the scope of your role, maintaining accountability for delegated care
* Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in line with policy and legislation
* Monitor and report changes in residents' health and functional status
* Contribute to care planning, documentation, and evaluation processes
* Ensure timely and accurate communication across the care team
What You'll Need
* Working rights in Australia
* Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
* At least 6 months experience in Aged Care as an Enrolled Nurse (or previous significant care worker experience)
* A genuine passion for providing person-centred care
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff
