Product Manager – Analytical Laboratory

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Analytical Laboratory to own and evolve the Brooks AIM Autosampler portfolio serving analytical laboratory applications. This role offers exposure, impact, and career growth in an end‐to‐end operation spanning product definition, engineering, manufacturing, and commercialization.
What you'll do:Product & Portfolio Management
* Own the end‐to‐end product lifecycle for AIM autosamplers used in analytical laboratory applications, from concept through launch and end‐of‐life.
* Define product strategy and roadmaps aligned to analytical techniques, instrument classes, and customer segments.
* Translate analytical application requirements into clear product definitions, specifications, and priorities.
* Ensure compatibility between AIM autosamplers and analytical instruments, including mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces.
* Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, validation activities, and product documentation relevant to analytical laboratory environments.
Market, Customer & VOC Engagement
* Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and subject‐matter experts in analytical laboratory automation.
* Lead and participate in customer evaluations, demonstrations, and pilot programs focused on analytical workflows.
* Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to assess customer expectations, identify unmet needs, and inform product enhancements.
* Participate in formal and informal market research and communicate findings to product and marketing leadership.
Marketing & Commercial Enablement
* Prepare and coordinate marketing support programs for the analytical autosampler portfolio and in synergy with other Brooks Laboratory Automation Solutions portfolio requirements.
* Contribute to the planning and creation of promotional materials, product updates, and internal/external communications.
* Lead or support the development and execution of go‐to‐market and marketing strategies for the analytical business line.
* Develop and maintain competitive intelligence files, perform competitive analyses, and act as a subject‐matter expert for the portfolio.
* Assist with market and portfolio analysis, including competitive pricing, positioning, market share, and portfolio planning.
Training, Communication & Stakeholder Collaboration
* Develop and deliver product training programs and educational presentations to internal teams and external audiences.
* Support and collaborate on trade shows, industry events, and customer workshops.
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with R&D, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Marketing Communications, and global affiliates.
What you'll bring
* Bachelor's degree required in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
* 3–5+ years' experience within the laboratory industry, with exposure to analytical instrumentation or laboratory automation.
* Experience in product management, product marketing, or technical product sales.
* Strong understanding of analytical laboratory terminology, workflows, and environments.
