What are we looking for?
In this role, you will apply machine learning and AI to enhance the Client Experience Program by developing and deploying advanced models (e.g. LLM fine-tuning, CatBoost, Random Forest) and building AI solutions for the legal sector. You will translate complex analysis into clear insights that support data-driven decisions. You will also work across the full solution lifecycle - including data preparation, stakeholder engagement, Azure cloud, and platform development - to deliver end-to-end data science solutions in a dynamic environment.
* Translate complex data and model outputs into clear insights, visuals, and recommendations for stakeholders
* Engage with stakeholders to define needs, manage expectations, and gather feedback across project delivery
* Lead end-to-end delivery of data science projects from problem definition to production deployment and monitoring
* Contribute to AI and machine learning strategy, including methods, tools, and governance standards
* Develop, train, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
* Manage the full MLOps lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation
* Design and integrate large language models (LLMs) into business applications
* Implement controls for LLMs, including structured outputs, logging, and monitoring for reliability and compliance
* Perform data preparation and validation, and collaborate on scalable data pipelines with engineering teams
* Support development of in-house AI platforms, improving backend systems, functionality, and integrations
What will you bring?
* Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
* 3+ years' experience in data science
* Advanced Python programming skills
* End-to-end machine learning development experience
* Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
* Experience with DevOps/MLOps practices
* Knowledge of LLMs and AI agent development
* T-SQL and data querying skills
* Strong problem-solving and collaborative working ability
* Stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
* Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
* Adaptability, innovation mindset, and change management capability
