Overview
We are looking for a Home Care Worker to help older members of our community maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. The role requires 3 months or more of experience in a similar role, based in the Swansea NSW 2281 area.

What We’re Looking For
- Enjoy having variety in their day
- Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer
- Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help
In addition, you will need a valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle. Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role.
Role Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- Providing social and emotional support
- Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
- Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
