Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities within existing geographical boundaries and win and secure profitable competitor customers as per branch budget targets.
* Target and increase tonnage against monthly budgets.
* Complete and submit monthly reports on due dates.
* Report on all product categories in relevant branch with regard to margin, volume and competitor activity.
* Establish and maintain data on the customer information base via appropriate EWS screens.
* Develop trade allies and ensure they are serviced.
* Conduct cylinder safety‑training sessions for new customers as required.
* Develop and maintain records of opposition customers.
* Liaise with branch and transport functions to ensure desirable service levels are achieved.
* Co‑ordinate and co‑operate with Customer Service Staff where necessary to achieve goals and targets for respective areas.
* Monitor signage, promotions, advertising, etc. to ensure that Elgas logo, trademark and other company identifications are presented consistently with company guidelines and exposure is maximised.
What makes you great
* 2‑3 years of industrial gas field sales experience.
* Clean and valid driver's licence required.
* Strong sales experience necessary.
* Results oriented.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Negotiation skills suitable.
