About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Workplace Rehabilitation Support Officer to join our Workplace Rehabilitation Unit in this important role dedicated to supporting effective injury management and workers compensation processes. Your work will directly contribute to positive recovery outcomes and a supportive workplace culture.
As the Workplace Rehabilitation Support Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Providing timely and accurate advice and administrative support to injured workers, managers, Health and Rehabilitation Advisors and the Manager, Workplace Rehabilitation
* Calculating and submitting weekly workers compensation payments accurately
* Support general workers compensation claims administration and respond to enquiries
* Maintain electronic injury management files and confidential records in line with legislative and policy requirements

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* Prior experience in a workers compensation, payroll, workforce rehabilitation or similar environment
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with tight timelines
* Good communication skills, with a focus on empathy, understanding and positive engagements
