Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and managerial oversight of a team of 10 psychologists (Specified Calling 2 and 3).
- Support youth detention services under the Young People Directorate with a trauma-informed, therapeutic model of care.
- Contribute as a key member of the Senior Management Team to inform practices and policies and facilitate positive outcomes for young people in care; support ongoing implementation of the Model of Care.
Eligibility and Qualifications
- A postgraduate Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Forensic Psychology.
- Full registration with the Psychologists Board of Australia, with Endorsement in Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychology.
- Permanent positions – Australian citizenship or permanent resident status.
- WWC positions – current Working with Children Check or ability to apply for one.
