We are seeking a talented individual to join our **Affinity **practice team at **Marsh**. This role will be based in our **Adelaide **office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As an **Account Executive**, you will implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of medium to large accounts, ensuring high-quality customer service and consistent attainment of revenue and expense budgets.
**We will count on you to**:
- Consistently achieve agreed service standards.
- Foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and monitor changes to preserve these relationships.
- Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, ensuring client needs are identified and met.
- Utilise strong negotiation skills to provide favourable outcomes for clients and the organisation while maintaining relationships with insurer partners.
- Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
- Assist claims colleagues in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of major classes of General insurance and stay updated on new technical and product developments.
- Keep abreast of relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act and Insurance Contracts Act.
**What you need to have**:
- Tier 1 qualified.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in insurance broking or underwriting.
- Experience managing a portfolio and looking after small to medium commercial accounts.
- Proficient in placing and advising on a wide range of insurance classes, including Public Liability and Management Liability.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to clients.
