As a workplace health and wellbeing specialist, you will play a critical role in leading complex return-to-work cases and mentoring site-based coordinators.
The role focuses on delivering sustainable recovery outcomes for injured workers while minimising business disruption and supporting a culture of care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with treating practitioners, insurers and legal teams to manage end-to-end return-to-work plans across multiple jurisdictions.
* Provide expert advice and coaching to RTW coordinators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support workers' recovery and reintegration.
* Identify and address barriers to successful return-to-work outcomes.
* Lead case conferencing and provide ongoing support to workers throughout their recovery journey.
* Monitor compliance with relevant workers' compensation legislation and contribute to the development of injury management policies and system improvements.
* Deliver targeted training to build capability and promote best practice in return-to-work.
About You
* You will hold a tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or exercise physiology, or a related allied health field.
* Proven experience in managing complex return-to-work cases is essential.
* You will possess a strong working knowledge of workers' compensation legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are required.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outcome-focused environment.
* Passion for employee wellbeing and driving sustainable recovery outcomes.
* Experience in delivering coaching and training to internal stakeholders is highly desirable.
