As a Residential Care Worker at Kanda, you'll provide practical support, guidance, and care to young people experiencing vulnerability. You'll play a key role in helping them build essential life skills, confidence, and independence, while ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and sense of belonging within the community.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide hands-on care and guidance in a safe, supportive home environment
* Support young people to achieve their individual goals through personalised care plans
* Assist with daily living activities, education, self-care and recreation
* Build strong, trusting relationships grounded in encouragement, consistency and emotional safety
* Maintain accurate, professional documentation to support quality care

What You'll Need
* A current driver's licence (minimum P2)
* A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or eligibility to obtain them)
* Either hold, or be willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field
* Experience is desirable but not essential. We value enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong commitment to learning.
