Education Support Professional
The role of an Education Support Professional is to provide operational support in education administration and contribute to meeting the educational needs of a school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver education-related services consistent with academic requirements and timetables for the work area
* Evaluate compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory controls and ensure a safe working environment for all staff and students
As an Education Support Professional, you will apply your extensive administrative experience and analytical skills to offer advice on policy and procedures. You may also be required to guide and assist junior staff in a small team environment.
About You:
* Experience in tertiary environments with knowledge of student administration, curriculum, and learning management systems like Canvas, Records Management, along with understanding of timetabling/rostering student activities
* In-depth knowledge of university policies, administrative processes, and quality assurance frameworks
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and capacity to exercise sound judgement and prioritise tasks during busy periods
* Strong customer service skills, demonstrating initiative in resolving conflicts and building relationships
* Excellent teamwork skills, linking faculty and school staff with PSU teams to deliver positive outcomes
* Demonstrated understanding of advising and supporting students
* Background in student support or administration, including awareness of current student issues
Requirements:
* Hold unrestricted work rights in Australia for employment duration
* Able to comply with pre-employment checks and ongoing clearances and background check requirements
