Responsibilities · Design/Build applications using Microservice architecture with Java Spring boot. · Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are op timized f or performance and built to scale · Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture. · Critical thinking mindset, st rong sense o f accountability for product delivery, passion to develop quality software. · Monitor process of software configuration/development/testing to assure quality deliverable. · Develop own and peer’s skills and be a mentor to junior peers, to build T-shaped team. · Demonstrate accountability and end-to-end ownership for the designed capability, including proactive incident management, root cause analysis, strategic resolution planning, and automated data remediation where About You Must have · Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering. · 8-10 years’ hands on experience in developing spring boot applications, in-depth knowledge of microservices architecture · Strong hands-on experience in development and testing using microservice/lightweight containers & frameworks such as Spring Boot · Understanding of design patterns and able to show expertise in applying design patterns · Lead design and implementation of secure, scalable, observable, fault tolerant systems in cloud and be an active participant in peer reviews for the same. · Experience in Cloud technologies (primarily AWS): serverless computing (Lambda, Step Functions, Glue), RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis · Docker / K8 / Containerisation technologies · Understanding of Security (Authentication and Authorisation) · Experience with SQL and NoSQL DBs · Understands CI/CD process and has experience with at least 1 build server (e.g.: bamboo, Gitlab ci, Jenkins etc) · Understands version control and various branching strategies Desirable: · Programming languages: Python, JavaScript/Nodejs · APIGEE or Nginx or similar API gateway experience · Observability tools - New Relic, Splunk, Datadog, ELK stack etc · Understanding of change management principles and experience in production support · Experience in performance testing using JMeter or other similar tools · Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills If you are looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
